I realize the best way to accomplish anything real is by going really really really hard. Recently I watched a documentary about Jordan and the Chicago Bulls called “The last dance” and it made me realize that “Jordan” state of mind is the mindset to have when you want to see great results.
The documentary made me reflect on myself and on my personal efforts towards my own projects in life.
I remember playing sports and going really hard on defense but not too hard on offense and I realized I never truly gave myself an opportunity to be great in the game.

I often carried that same attitude throughout my life of not going hard af and that limited my growth as a person.
Not truly giving it your all is mediocracy’s best friend. Michael Jordan’s focus on both offense and defense made him spectacular, and his drive is very motivating because he cared, he really wanted it and it mattered, therefore, he gave it his all.
The Jordan Approach
Any project or goal you want to truly accomplish and see good results, I believe this is one of the best approaches to have. The last few months I have not written for the newsletter but I have written for a book I am currently writing.
I have taken the Jordan approach on going really hard on writing for this book but it is not easy because some days I don’t even want to think about the project and have doubts about it.
However, I must push through and not let anything stop the vision and I tell you the same, keep going!
You have to be a sniper with your goals, no excuses, there is only one person you must gather the results for, and that is yourself. Years are running by at this point so don’t let the years fool you into thinking you have forever. That “someday” approach can produce no results if you are not careful.
So whatever it is you want to do in life, do it and don’t doubt yourself, you may not be Michael Jordan but you can certainly apply that work ethic to produce greatness too.
